Students may choose to wear the formal uniform OR PE/Sports uniform on any day of the week.


Day-to-day School Uniform
Students are expected to wear full school uniform each day. Students may choose to wear the Formal Uniform or PE / Sports Uniform on any given day of the week and must be in the correct combination.
Formal Uniform Expectations

Expectations with non-branded bottom half uniform items:
• School shorts and school pants are to be plain grey
• No denim or tracksuits
General Expectations
• Shoes must be solid black, lace up and polishable
• Students cannot wear boots
• Socks must be white, grey or black
• Students can wear black tights underneath the kilt and grey skirt
• Shorts, kilts and skirts are to be of appropriate length in the opinion of the school administration
PE / Sports Uniform Expectations
• Please see PE / Sports Uniform diagram from our uniform supplier included in this document
Expectations with non-branded bottom half uniform items:
• Shorts and tracksuit pants are to be solid navy blue
• Shorts and tracksuit pants must be appropriate to participate in physical activity
• Shorts are to be of appropriate length in the opinion of the school administration
• No leggings
General Expectations
• Appropriate shoes/runners to participate in PE
• Socks must be white, grey or black
Accessories Expectations
• Students can only wear Belmont High School caps, bucket hats or beanies.
• Students may wear plain white or black base layers under their uniform:
– Hoodies are not permitted
– Long sleeve base layers should not be seen through or under the uniform (e.g. under short sleeves)
Jewellery and make-up:
• Jewellery and make-up must be discreet in the opinion of the school administration.
• Discreet facial piercings may be allowed in consultation with the House Leader.
