At Belmont High School we encourage students to ‘Strive for the Highest’ in their academics by providing a dynamic and inclusive learning environment. Belmont High School follows the Victorian Curriculum from 7-10 and then continues onto VCE & VCE VM in the senior years.
Our curriculum comprises a range of core subjects, including English, Mathematics, Science, Humanities and Health and Physical Education. These subjects form the foundation of our students’ learning journey and are taught by dedicated and experienced teachers.
In addition to our core subjects, we offer a variety of specialist programs to cater to the diverse interests and talents of our students. From our Language subjects Indonesian and Italian to the Arts, Technology and Music, our specialist programs provide students with a broad range of learning opportunities.
Our curriculum is underpinned by our schoolwide approach to differentiation and the BHS Lesson Framework to ensure that all learners are supported to achieve their best.
