Student wellbeing at BHS
Belmont High School values that students are in the best place to learn when their wellbeing is well supported. We build positive relationships throughout our House System and work on the Respectful Relationships Curriculum during our Form Assemblies. Our students are additionally supported by our Wellbeing team. The Wellbeing team consists of a Wellbeing Coordinator, Student Wellbeing Officers, Mental Health Practitioner and a Mental Health Nurse.
Individual and group support is available, as well as school wide health promotion initiatives, programs and activities. Students can access wellbeing support on request and can be referred by their House Leader, as well as parents. Students can also access support via partnerships with external services both in and outside of school.
